The Convergent Conference: Worship in a Fragmented Age
In an age of wall building and tribalism of all sorts we believe the church is called to model an alternative way of life. As Christians we have “one Lord, one faith, one baptism”—the foundation of our corporate gatherings. Yet Christian worship, too often, mirrors the divisions of the broader culture. How can worship gatherings reflect the diversity of Revelation 7 while not falling prey to cultural consumerism or appropriation? How might the creative arts help our congregations cultivate new ways forward in a fragmented age?
Join us for the Convergent Conference on June 15th, where we will explore these questions through prayer, song, creative arts, and conversation. This day-long conference will feature pastors, scholars, and practitioners who share a deep love for the Triune God and the full diversity of the church at worship.
